How can we take a new branding and rebuild the design system components, so the product feels new, and feels like the Vandaag Inside live show?
Solution
I worked closely with the UX team and product owner to align the design system, then documented it together for development. Clear documentation meant the team could implement the new components with rules, without the usual back-and-forth of how it should be.
The styleguide defined the look: new colors, typography, a visual direction. From there we defined how that look should behave across components, states, and edge cases. We used the Atomic Design System as rule that the components could be build from, into something development can use in Zeplin.
